Quick M4 Question

I'm in the market for an M4, since I came across a colapsable butstock for one I figured I might as well get the rest of the gun to go with it. However I don't know the difference between the 11707 or the 11717. Will they both take the stock? What makes them different?

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe that all 11717s are camo with collapsable stocks. 11707s will accept collapsable stocks, but the one you don't want is the civilian M1014 which had a recoil tube that wasn't milled to allow the stock to collapse.
