Saw an M4 at my local sporting goods store. It was tagged as an "M4 LE" model (11707?).
It had a fixed pistol grip (Steadi-grip?) stock, and short mag tube with prosthetic extention.

Anyway, when I looked at the muzzle, there was a removable choke tube in there???
I thought all M4's had fixed Cylinder bores? That's the way the Benelli web-site lists them.
I like the idea of having the flexibility of multiple chokes, so, I was (pleasantly) surprised.
In fact, this was one of the reasons I was leaning toward an M2 Tactical instead of the M4!

Does anyone know when this change happened? Are they the new Benelli "Cryo" chokes?

Thanx, Dave.

The limited editions and all military M4's have the fixed barrels with no screw in chokes. All the M4's with the model number 11707 have the chokes, or at least they are supposed to come with three of them. Mine just had the one choke in the barrel and Benelli CS had to send me the other two. Hope that answers your question.

I think what comes in the box depends when it was closed, if it was after VINO TIME!! you probably have your answer for not getting any manuals, chokes or lube!!

Are these the "older" Benelli tubes?
Or the "newer" Benelli Cryo pattern tubes?

Thanx, Dave.

They are the older tubes and not the Crio tubes.
