1866 CAS Performance

Would like to hear from Pards that have used their '66 Yellowboy out-of-the-box. Can you give me some tips on what needs to be done to smooth out the action.

I haven't even fired mine yet, but I don't intend to send it out for an action job.. Thanks

I've never shot one of their 1866 Yellowboys, but have shot their 1873 Winchester short rifle, and it shot great right out of the box. No smoothing needed. It was sweet enough to get me to buy one! So I'd be surprised if your '66 Yellowboy needed any action work. Shoot straight!
