Well, now for the reason I've come here. I already think Uberti revolvers are nice looking. I want to know how dependable they are. Will they hold together well with repeated usage? Can they handle cartridges with hot loads (just in case)?
I understand that there's a partnership between Uberti and Beretta now. Will I still be able to buy Uberti revolvers with the original hammer design (without the transfer bar)? Will both options be available (with and without transfer bar)?
Lots of questions, I know. A firearm purchase is an important thing to me. It's got to be the right kind of gun for me if I'm going to pay the money.

Hey Sam
I have some form of representation of about 20 different Ubertis all imported by Benelli USA in Accokeek and I have had little to no issue with any of them. Though the guns are all only 1 year old I have run several hundred rounds through them without a hitch.
The partnership rumor that I heard is that Beretta bought the majority share in Uberti. Beretta just had Uberti manufacture the Stampede which has the transfer bar. The ubertis by Benelli will continue to have the original style hammers.
Have you heard anything about the possibility of a safety solution for states like Maryland and NY.

Thank you Mr. Mike,
I'm afraid I haven't heard anything regarding a safety solution for NY or Maryland.

Sasparilla Sam I read an article that with Beretta owning them that Stoeger would be importing them which is part of Benelli USA. As a result the warranty repair and customer service will be handled by them. This should be much better than the support Uberti had in the past.
Also, Uberti has been moved into a brand new modern factory with all new CNC machinery. Therefore they promise that the quality, durability, attention to detail and fit & finish is superior.
So, unless the gun is marked "Imported by Stoeger" you buying an old model that was imported before the improvements. Not to mention it is not warranteed by Stoeger.

I only have about 10 Ubertis and love everyone of them. Got mine from Uberti USA. Was sad to see them go, they had great prices. Hopefully Beretta and/or Stoeger will be the same. I was very happy to see this new site.

I think Ubertis are superior to the other Italian made clones. I own lots of Ubertis and a few ASMs and a couple of Piettas. The Ubertis are best in fit and finish and all of mine have given me good service over several years of use. No breakages, no misfires and all are acceptably accurate.
