I use the Redhead Bone Dry 1000 gram Thinsulate in cold weather and Remington cordura uninsulated in warmer temps.

No complaints with either.

The Redhead's boots are pretty heavy on land, but are fine in waterover knee deep.

Cabela's makes nice wader's for a great price. And there return policy is great.

My brother and I love our Cabela's SuperMags' 1600's. They work great. Had them for 3 years.

I also like Hodgman's.

Make sure you get a belt (wader belt) for your waders. This little helper may save your life if you ever go in the water a little too deep. If properly used, it should prevent water from flooding into your waders.

I hunt in California where the weather doesn't get too nasty. I use Cabela's 3 mm stockingfoot waders ($50) and a great pair of Cabela's shoes ($50). They are comfortable to walk in and I've never had my boots pop off, as is the case with waders that have the boots attached. I've had them for 5 years with no problems.

Several of my friends have breathable waders that they purchased from Cabelas. They look more comfortable (they breath and are not as tight). I might purchase a set next year if they don't have any problems.
