fitting my SBE II

Just purchased an SBE II. What are the steps that I should take to determine if the shotgun fits me properly? How do I determine if need to use the shims? Thanks for the help

close yoru eyes and mount the gun, then open them, are you looking flat down the barrel, above or below?

If you are looking above, then you need to lower the stock, below, then raise the stock.
