I recently acquired via trade an older ( still in excellent condition ) Uberti over / under .38 special derringer.

Just curious as to its approximate vale / rarity ?

Sorry, pard. Don't know where such grips might be had. VTI maybe? As to value, you might try the Blue Book of Gun Values or the like. These haven't been made (or at least imported here) for while and parts are scarce as far as I know.

If you should decide to sell at some point, I would be interested in talking with you.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

These derringers were not imported after the 1968 GCA. The serial number is preceeded by Ubertis coded system of roman numerals corresponding to the year of mfg. ex: mine is XVII and thats the number for 1961.
MSRP was $389.00 back in the day when you COULD by one. They are built like tanks, and have REAL color-casr hardened steel.

I have a set I took off the Uberti derringer I have, and then made a set from "ivory" composite for the pistol. Looks WAY better.

e-mail me if you're still interested in grips for yours.
