Dixie Slugs

I bought one of these little guns simply because it was so unique! After playing around with it, was surprised at how accurate it was on Dixie Slugs 50 yard slug range.
I decided to hunt some with it during Florida's ML season. Most shots along the Suwannee River swamps are no further than 50 yards. Managed to kill one young sow with a shot in the ear.......doa!
I did change the nipples to Ampcos(sp) and use 25 grs of 777 and Speer .454" balls, with an Oxyoke wad between powder and ball.
