A customer noticed that the cylinder pin on his pair of Lightnings cannot be removed due to interference from the ejector rod handle. He wants me to grind them but this would be of no use because the clearance needed would mean grinding the pin so that it would not retain the cylinder. Is there a fix for this problem? Is there an extended guide rod housing etc.? The customer does not think the warranty applies as anothere "gunsmith" has already ground the pins. They still function but the main problem persists. :confused: The firearms are 4.75" stainless. Any help would be appreciated.
