I am aware that last year, Uberti was purchased by Beretta. As a result of this purchase, the old Uberti USA importer was dissolved, but Uberti continued to manufacture guns for Stoeger, Navy Arms, Taylor's, and Cimarron in addition to the Stampede revolver for Beretta. Now, I am being told thaty some retailers will be able to order Uberti guns directly from Uberti without going through one of the importers mentioned above. Is this true? Can anybody give me the straight scoop? Thanks, Squint
