Anyone know if Ubirti is still producing their repro. of the Sharps 4 barrel Derringer ?

Or, if someone has one, and is interested in selling it, contact me at " [email protected] ".

Thanks

Hey,

I want one two...some time ago I saw a Texas firm that made one in .22 but with a plastic handle. My recollection is that they're out of business. Is the Uberti similar>

Britbest,
I once had one of those. I live in Houston and ordered one through a Firearms Dealer friend of mine. I had a girlfriend from North Carolina that was driving her and her 2 kids back home to visit her folks, let her borrow it for protection, and it never came back to Houston when she returned. Never could get out of her what happened to the Derringer, either !!

The " Frontier Four " was made by HJS Arms Inc.
P.O. Box 3711, Brownsville, Texas 78523-3711
Phone No# 1-800-453-2767

That is the info I was able to put together from various other forms of info from the internet. I once had a catalog of theirs, lost now, and would like to find another one, plus, buy another one of their " Frontier Four " Derringers.

It was made of Stainless Steel with black plastic screw on grips, and came with a wooden dowel to poke through the front of the barrels to eject the empty .22 casings. It fired short, long and long rifle .22's. I used to fire CCI Stingers out of mine, and it packed quite a little wallop.

The Ubirti Model looked more like the old Sharps 4 bbl Pepperbox from what I've seen, while the Frontier Four was much smaller and had a different grip configuration. It's a nice little Derringer pistol !
