I was wondering what experiences folks have had with the I-12. I am in the market for a 12 GA 3," but really can't afford a Benelli. I can't seem to find out alot about this model, any reviews/opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I bought the synthetic camo I-12 last month & really like it. After shooting it to see how it patterned, it shot a lil high & to the left. Also the fit was not right & it would sting my cheek. After changing out the shims (one of the reasons why I bought it), it hit dead on & stopped the cheek banging. It has a good feel, weighs just right, & the gel recoil pad is great. It is VERY easy to take apart & clean. I took it squirrel hunting with the factory full choke & it was dropping em stone dead. I bought a Briley extended IC & a LM to shoot with the steel shot. Can't wait to try it out on the ducks. :D

I also didn't want to spend the money for a Benelli and after comparing the Stoeger and Franchi I went with the Franchi because it felt much better to me. The only issue I've had, which was my own fault, was that it wouldn't cycle Remington light loads properly, the bolt would hang in the back of the receiver. But after reading the instruction manual and shooting several boxes of heavy loads through it, the action is much smoother now and it cycles them all just fine. No issues with the bolt handle coming out like others have posted, sounds like the 05's had that problem. I'm very happy with it so far and love how easy it is to take apart and clean compared to my old Winchester. Hope this helps.

I have a Benelli Nova and wanted a semi shotgun and felt like the I 12 was a great deal. I've been really impressed with the I 12 and I would recommend it. It a great value for an interia system.

I have owned my i-12 for not even a year now and my trigger mechanism has already broken on my twice! I am not impressed. I have owned 7 shotguns and out of those seven the i-12 was the most expensive and also the most problematic. the whole trigger mech. is plastic and breaks easily when shooting a heavy duck or goose load. I say stray away but if you still want one mine is definatly for sale.

I love this gun! It handles well and shoots like a more expensive gun.The only problem i've had so far is that the bolt handle flies out about every time i shoot the thing.i proanly just got a defected gun.

You sure that your putting it all the way in? After I broke my new I-12 down & cleaned it, I found out that when I replace the handle, it will go in & you will feel a click. Push on it again & it will seat further in. I have to pull like **** to get mine out to strip clean the gun.
I've got about 2 boxes thru my I-12 as of now. So far so good. Shoots & handles like a dream. If only my shooting was half as good! :D
