I have a couple questions for any of you with experince with the Renaissance line of o/u's. First I see that the Alcoine is no longer available, did the Renaissance replace it? If so how does it compare? Also I know with the old model you could order 20ga. barrels to put on your 12ga. frame, is this option still available in the Renaissance? I'm currently looking at the Elite in the 12ga. but also wanting to get a set of 20ga. barrels. Any info or opinions anyone has about the gun would be appreciated.

The Alcione is discontinued the new one is a little fancier version of the Veloce. And speaking with a Benelli rep the barrels are not interchangeable. The Alcione line are interchangeable let me know what you are looking for I might have an Alcione Titanium 20 Ga for sale

The Renaissance is not a fancier version of the Veloce or Veloce Squire, but it may be a fancier version of the Veloce Diamond.
But yes, it did combine the Alcoine and Veloce lines into one gun of all gauges.

Since the Renaissance isn't avaliable in two barrel set, your option would be to buy a tube set from Briley so you can shoot 20 ga out of your 12ga. I haven't seen the Elite yet, but the field and classic version to me isn't any nicer han the Veloce Squire. The Elite would be my choice.. Beautiful gun
