712 Raptor for hunting ??

I read that the Raptor was created for sporting clays. Anyone's opinions on using it for hunting purposes? (dove, quail, pheasant)

It should be just fine for hunting. I use my field guns for clay shooting. I see no reason why a clay gun can't be used in the field. Have fun.

I would take my Raptor hunting in a minute. They wouldnt have chambered it for three inch if it was only for clays.
