I have just acquired an SL Sport (3" chambers) with two Franchi extended chokes (IC and Mod) and one Colonial arms choke (cyl) and have questions:

1. What are nominal bore sizes supposed to be on this model? Trulock website says that some of these come with .732. (I realize I need to check mine to be sure)

2. Franch website says extended knurled chokes are available in Cyl, IC, Mod, Imp Mod and Full. Are these chokes standard constrictions e.g. zero for cyl, .010 for IC, .020 for Mod, etc.; or some Franchi created constrictions? If differerent can someone tell me what they are.

3. I realize I can get Trulock or Briley (or apparently Colonial) extended chokes for the gun, but what are opinions on the Franchi extended chokes?

4. Franchi chokes must be purchased from dealers according to Franchi. Does anyone know dealers that would have these chokes in stock? What are the going prices per Franchi choke?

Thanks for any input.

The bore is 0.732, I got two skeet chokes from trulock. Do a search for chokes and you should find the pictures of them. There was no extra charge for the custom chokes. They were thirty bucks from some website. If you cannot find it on this website do search in the franchi section on the shotgunworld.com. Good luck!
