Alicone SP?

Saw one at the gun store, and really liked it. Can someone tell me anything about it? Quality, pro's and cons etc.

hey BLM.. I've got a few Franchis in the SL-12 and the Veloce' Squire set and think highly of both. I don't own an SP but there are a few guys I know of at the club that do and they both love 'em. I've some rounds with one of them and thought it perty nice. The fit and finish was what you'd expect see and the furniture was equally handsome on both.

I'm biased to the SL-12 so keep that in mind. The only thing that I'd like better on the gun itself is a tighter radius on the grip but,.. thats me. oh.. one other thing is regarding the side plate screw heads.. its a personal thing i guess but, I've got mixed feeling on 'em.. since once they get a little torque they might deform.

Outside of that .. heck - It swung real nice and operated flawlessly. I doubt you'll be disappointed with ANY of Franchi's doubles within' your personal preferance.
