Is Franchi and benelli the same company? or did they merg?

both were bought by Beretta Corp. Benelli handles the US distribution of the Arms.

Why doesn't Beretta have a forum here?

Beretta corporate probably owns more companies than you own pairs of pants.
It would make about as much sense to house a forum here as it would on the Burris or perhaps at Meccanica del Sarca.

these forums (and brand names there in) are run under/by Benelli USA.

Beretta runs their own 'show'.
