AL 48 Black Magic 20 GA will not feed the shells from the mag tube

I have a rather old AL 48 that is refusing to load the shells from the mag tube I have cleaned the gun well and it still will not load the third shell from the tube. Any suggestions as to a cure?

Never had a problem like the one you describe, but I would check the condition of the tube first - look for a dent or rust/rough inner surface. If the tube appears in good shape, I would suspect the strength of the follower spring in the magazine tube.
