I just bought mine yesterday, :D so of course it rained today so I didn't get to shoot it. But I can wait to get out to the range. I had a hard time finding one in southern Maryland. I live 20 minutes away from Accokeek, (Where they are imported) but none of the dealers around here had one, nor could they order one for me. And yes, I did use the dealer locator page on the web site. The closest one I could find was 3 hours away. I had to drive all the way out route 50 almost to the Bay Bridge to get mine. So far I'm pleased with it, I've disasembled it and examined the construction, and it looks to be a quality fire arm. Much nicer than my Remington, or Mossberg. Nicer that my Winchester, which I hold in higher reguard than the others I mentioned. I really can't wait to try it out. I'll be sure to post again as soon as I've had a chance to make it out to the range. I'll let you know how it does.

Well the Raptor has only been out since October. It seems to take a while for most new imported models to to hit the dealer shelves. I think I bought the only one that was on the market in MD when I got mine. But it was worth the easter egg hunt to find one. I finaly made it out to PG county Skeet & Trapp on Sunday, and I'm happy to report that the Raptor functioned flawlessly. Not a single jam, miss feed, or failure to eject. The recoil was very mild, and the gun just plain felt good to shoot. Now as far as breaking targets goes, I'm affraid that the shooter was rusty and it took a few rounds to get the feel for the new gun. But by the end of the third round I was back to me pre-Raptor average score. Unfortunatly the wife was cold, and made me pack it up after three rounds.

Just bought a franchi rapator 12 ga. Monday (1/10/05). Got to shoot it at the trap range Friday evening. I really like this gun. Shot it well out of the box. Recoil not bad at all. Can't wait to try sporting clays.
