Hi guys and gals,

I have a 35th anniversary edition from the early 80's. I'm not sure of the model number, but it looks like the modern 912. It's a 12 ga, 2 3/4" model with no choke tubes (straight modified choke) and a ventilated rib. The sideplate on the receiver has a really nice checkered pattern, and I think it shows a bird dog on point. The stock is matte walnut.

I have two questions. First, is this gun worth anything special because it is the anniversary edition? Second, when I used to hunt the gun, I had a problem with it ejecting shells. It didn't matter if I shot low brass or high brass. Sometimes it would open the action enough to start kicking the shell out, but then it would catch on the stationary part of the receiver and jam. Othertimes it wouldn't make it far enough back to start to kick out, but plenty far enough to start bringing up the next shell- again a jam. I was never able to use the gun for more than one shot, so we boxed it back up and tucked it under the bed. I figured it might be worth something some day so the less I beat it around the better. It only has one small nick on the stock and is otherwise new and in the original box. Any clue what the ejecting problem could be?

I want to get back into small game hunting and I loved this gun. It was close to 4 lb unloaded and is the lightest semi shotgun I've ever held.

Thanks,
