I just purchased a 12 gauge Franchi Alcione Titanium.

Can i now get the 20 guage barrels or did i need to order a gun with both 12 and 20 guage?

Well i called customer service and they said you can order barrels at anytime and you don't have to send your gun in for them to fit them.

The guy at Gander mountain did not know what he was talking about when he told me that I would have to send my gun in for them to fit them.

Are you ordering direct from Franchi or going through a local dealer?

the bbls realy should be fitted but that can be done for the most part by any good gun smith. if you luck out they will fit just fine. you realy run into problems when you get into very high end o/u guns that are all hand fitted.

the barrels shouldn't need any smithing at all ... go ahead and order 'em w/confidence.

precision is key with Franchi doubles ... they'll fit.

I have an Alcione SX with both the 12 ga. and 20 ga barrel sets. They both fit perfectly without any special fitting.

NOW, if we could only convince Franchi to produce a 16 ga barrel set for the Alcione it would be the perfect gun!!!
