I have a 48al hunter imported by FIE in 20 gauge that I bought used off of Gunbroker a little over a year ago. I love hunting with this gun. None of my other guns have the pointability this gun has. Shortly after I received it, I broke the firing pin. I'm not really sure why, but it broke. I bought a new one from Gunparts Corp. and installed it. It worked fine until today, when it broke again. Gun Parts Corp. is out of them right now. Does anyone have another source of firing pins? Also, does anyone have any ideas why they are breaking? I use a snap cap, and to the best of my knowledge, I haven't dry fired it. If it has been dry fired by someone else ( and that's only a slight possiblity), it's only been once or twice.

I checked Brownell's website, but they don't have a listing for a Franchi firing pin. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Birddog,
I think I found some at Mann's in Illinois. As far as I can tell, they are the only ones who are stocking them at the current time. It's from new production. I hope it fits.
Thanks
