Just Bought this gun and like it but was wanting to know if the fore-ends are all loose even after tightening down the end cap ? The wood is very light and thin. I have 3 Benelli's and the fore-end is solid and tight on those guns. My Beretta Super Trap is solid also. Is the 612 not designed properly or is this a small defect with my gun?

Hey clyshtr I own the alcione with sport barrel and a 20 barrel but want an auto know . I just tried an AL391 berreta with a seminol package and there was no recoil to think of . Do you think the 612 sport is like that. I cant find a sport up here in Maine to try but I figure the regular 612 should fit the same which I like.

Remymag, I also have the left handed version of the Alcion Sport and shoot it very well. I have recently lost 50 lbs. and I have been taking a beating with some of the heavier loads for sporting clays. For a back up gun I purchased the 612 sporting. I like the gun but do not shoot it as well as I would have thought. The recoil is light since the cone has been pushed out and the barrel is ported. I have gone to 1 oz. loads in both guns and that is even better for rduced recoil. I had a 390 and 391 and peddled both of them.
