Well figure that out!! A little back door antics?! Back in mid-December I e-mailed them about it and they said there were no plans of offering it... well I guess i asked specifically about the Grifone white models in the 6-700's and not the std's

Things must've changed or they just held out to release it ... hope the ingraved polished aluminum models come too

The gun is exactly the same as the 612 except there is no hump. It only talked about the one model its similiar to a beretta its called xtra wood or real wood its basically wall paper on a gunstock.

don't mean to be anal but I think it's called synthwood or syntwood. a photo laminate on a synthetic stock. I havn't seen the stuff yet. wonder if it looks cheesy?

I have heard the same thing about the 712, and have the same hope that it will eventually come to the states. However, I wrote to franchi and they said that they would gladly ship on to me through a verified dealer. smile.gif
