Rather have the 712 over the 612

I would buy a franchi if they imported the 712 I like the rounded reciever way better.

Mossberg Man, I sent an inquiry to Franchi to find out info on the 700's.... i'd sure like to pick one up. I'll let you know if/when they get back to me what the verdict is.....

All the popular guns now have rounded recievers it would save them money too. The remingtons brownings mossbergs benellis beretta all have rounded recievers. The 712 griffone or white is a very nice gun. find the pictures here www.franchi.com (http://www.franchi.com)

I like the style of the 612 better.

They make some pretty fancy 612 as well with all the fixing just like they do on the 712.

I think not selling the 712 in the united states has something to do with it looking and competing against the Al391 which is made by franchi's parent company beretta.

Well .... I got a response back from customer service inquiring about importation of the 700 series....

C.S. - "At this time we have no plans of doing so."

Oh well.....I guess we'll wait for this one just like the Falconet series.
