I have had my mind set on the Franchi 612 and still set on it. But I was wondering what you guys thought of the Beretta 3901, the gun they have at "good ol'' Wal-Mart for $500.00. I noticed the only 390's they at W-M was the black synthetic stock. Could Wal-Mart order me a 390 camo stock for a few extra bucks??

I wouldn't buy a shoe string at Wal-Mart, I have no idea how things are handled there, but I can only imagine that the merchandise is handled pretty rough. I'd buy parts from a gun shop that had a good reputation.

the 612 incorporates the benelli bolt and a recoil spring around the magazine tube it's more modern
