I've always admired the al 48 in 20 ga. when I've handled them in gun stores. I've never owned one or shot one, however.
I'd like to cut down the barrel on one to around 20" to try as a "house gun." But being a long recoil firearm, I'm concerned that cutting down the barrel would really "mess things up;" Excessive recoil, excessive wear and tear, functional problems, etc. It seems like it would almost have to. Comments?
