I have the Franchi 612 with a 24" smooth bore shotgun. How much does just the rifed barrel for the gun cost?

I would say it would be under 200 USD. The gun is light though so it is going to kick bad.

I don't know the price for the rifled barrel but I was just quoted $205 for the 612 28" blued, they told me it would take 4 to 8 weeks.

I have the 24" barrel also, why do you want the 28"? You know everybody say's you should have a 28" barrel for skeet, but a semi-auto with a 24" barrel is the same length as a double barrel that has a 28" barrel....the receiver on a semi-auto adds 4" to the end of the barrel which makes it the same length as a double barrel. I bought mine for hunting and I wanted a 24" barrel...everyone one that I know that shoots skeet said you need a 28" barrel to shoot skeet. Well I went to shoot sheet with several of them and shot just as well with the 24" as they did an actually shot better than one. I like the 24" for hunting and I might be able to shoot skeet better with a longer barrel but I am satisfied with what I bought and It suits my purpose to a T.
