I currently own a 20 Ga Veloce. Is it possible to purchase a set of 28 ga bbls for my 20 without any special fitting required. If so what is the approximate cost of the new bbls.

Richard,
Yes it is possible to interchage the different gauge sets Franchi has precision machined their recievers and bbl sets to interchange. But as soon as i say that ...finding one may be a chore ... the company offers a squire set these days that includes both 20 and 28 but as i recently found out from a rep purchasing the bbl only will be a bit of a chore... since they've been producing on a 1 to 1 ratio sets and single guns alike.
Maybe you could find out a bit more than my knowledge allows but, give a few calls to some locals first.... you never know maybe one of the owners has a rep in his back pocket.....
Good Luck and let me know if things turn out .

Hi fellas.
Could someone please tell me if the filigreed lever (action realease/tang lever) is blued or silver on the 20 ga. Veloce? The literature is not clear on this.
Also, does the Squire model differ any from the regular 20 ga. model? (besides having the extra 28 ga barrel set)
thanks a bunch!

Hi Kenati - the top lever matches the receiver on the Veloce.... aluminum. As for technical differences between the single gun and the squire packaged gun.... there are none. A good package!!
