Hi folks, I have a 12ga semi-auto that I am trying to get some info on. TRADEWINDS INC-Tacoma Washington is on the left side and the right side is stamped Farms Brescia Made in Italy. The shotgun has a vent rib barrel with chrome bore and full choke. Model H17D or H170. It shoots 2 3/4 in. I have been told that this is a Franchi or a subsidiary of Franchi. Any help would be appreciated. I have had no luck on info so far.

Thanks

tradewinds shotguns #H150 and H170 show up in the late '60.s thru the '70,s. the company is out of bussiness from about 1996. i too have a H150 [plane barrel] that from cross refferancing parts books does look to be a modified 48Al, major differance seems to be the trigger housing held in with one instead of two pins. basic browning #5 design prevents true comparasion with out some one with better insight in to eather tradewinds or franchi saying yes or no. hope some one can help us both as i've been trying to get this same question answered for several month now. by the way if you have a manaul for your gun i would like to get a copy if i could.
