My friend is selling his Benelli M1, so I'm selling my Stoeger 2000 and Remington 870 Super Mag (shoots 3 1/2 in. shells) to help pay for it. Does anyone know how to sells guns or find the value of guns?

In case anyone out there is interested, I have a 4-5 month old 2000 with a 26 inch barrel in the Max 4. I had a few misfires originally (first 2-3 boxes), but no misfires after I cleaned it. The gun has approximately 1,000 rounds through it. I also had a stuck choke tube after firing a box of shells, but was fixed and now has a Benelli modified choke tube.

My Remington 870 is 3-4 years old and has less rounds through it then my 2000. I have a patternmaster choke for it. It has a 28 inch barrel. Nothing fancy about it, just a great pump gun that will shoot 3 1/2 shells.

Their are several gun auction sites on the web, 1 being gunbroker.com. you could also try the classifieds on some of the hunting forums like duckhunter.net.

I'm in Elk Grove, CA. I paid $425 for it and will sell it for $300. You will have to pay for any additional expenses (shipping to a FFL dealer, etc). I can send you pictures if you would like, just provide me with an e-mail address.

Just sold my Remington for $175 and my Stoeger for $225 to a local gun dealer. I purchased a Beretta 391, made it Italy, with a 26 inch barrel. Part of me wanted to buy a Benelli, but I didn't like the recoil of my Stoeger and has issues about pulling the gun away from my shoulder on the last shot, resulting in a jammed gun. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that you should just fork out the cash for a quality shotgun and take care of it. Good luck to all you Stoeger owners.
