Dick's has had a sale on stoeger 2000 for the last three weeks but only has versions with 24" barrel. Looking for one with a 26" barrel. They don't have a clue on their next delivery nor when they will be available. Anybody have a clue??????

I was at Dicks last night and I Layed Away a Stoeger 2000 in the Timber camo. They told me they would not be getting anymore for a while because Ithiaca was who builds the barrels for these guns and that they were having a problem getting the barrels. I have no idea if this is correct.
I got it for $369 was that a good price? 26 in barrel

Dicks is full of ****, but then I think they hire only Mc Donalds and Wal Mart rejects. The only barrel Ithaca ever made was the rifled cantliever barrel. All the others are made in Turkey with the rest of the gun. Dont give these store managers too much credit. They dont even order the guns. They are just supposed to sell what's shipped to them from the main office.

OK DICK's is screwed up. This is only compounded by the fact that no one know what is coming in the door. I tried to call Customer Service but can only get to the customer service of a store. So here it is again, for the fourth week in a row, Camo Stoeger 2000 are on sale but none of the stores have any.

Anyone have any better information

The shotgun manager at the local Scheels said Stoeger is way behind in production (I'm sure due to their great pricing and popularity) and they would not be getting any M-2000's in until sometime in January. The price Stoeger pays for having good prices and good quality I guess.
