thats a 2000 not 200
I know you know it's a 2000 by the thread title. Stick with me and I'll show you some real screw ups.
Mine shot good right out of the box, but I never have shot any Fed ammo thru it. I'm elcheapo when it comes to ammo. Shot a lot of kent and remington sportsman faststeel 3" and 2 3/4"shells.
Now my M1 has jammed more the the Stoeger ever has.
Give you gun a good cleaning and some time and I bet it'll be ok.

Sounds like it may be choke wrench, however mine is metal with a blue plastic handle.
Sounds like a choke wrench alright , but unlike my wife, I can be wrong

THE TOOL WITH A BLUE HANDLE IS THE WRENCH USED TO TAKE OUT AND REPLACE YOUR CHOKES.
Sounds Like a choke wrench alright

well i think its rather clear from the begining but since im sure some ppl dont know it, stoeger havent made weapons them selfs in a long time (might be wrong), i think thay buy whats called a oem product, like for exsampel a mp3 player, a compnay in china makes a wounderfull product and leaves the spots for brand names empty then thay present the product to a big american company and the company then buys the oem product with the big american company logo on it.
Vursan Model 2000 (looks simular?)

Actually stoeger does make some of its own products including the m2000 and the new p 350 .Both of these are made in theiir own factory. They also do oem work as well such as their condors, uplanders, etc.

Yes
The factory used to be called vursan. This was the origianl name prior to it being bought out from Beretta holdings. They now call it Stoeger

well, why then is the barrel on stoegers m2000 labeld vursan ? why has the back tool you get with the shotgun vursan printed on it ? did thay just have a bunch of that stuff left over ?
i dont meant to act like an *** hole, but this brand name confict is somewhat amuseing.

some turkey word
Why is Beretta left out of these forums? If it's one big company why aren't they all listed.
MM you said that stoeger was bought out of beretta's holdings, (I'm a little slow now) does that mean Beretta doesn't own them?
What about Benelli and Franchi

I drive a Toyota, but I noticed the AC controls are identical to those in a friend's Ford.
What idfference does it make?
NONE.
If you have the gun you want, and it works to your liking, then don't worry about the history of the company or the source of its parts.
Just shoot.
