Im just woundering how many shells i can load the m2000 with, 3 or 4 ? the official site contains very litel information, one would think thay would get the manual page ready soon, the shotgun has been produced for 5years now.
I live in Sweden and my license for the shotgun is suposed to drop in the mail box during the comeing week. I've read about some defect shotguns here and I realy hope mine isnt defect or will fail me after a few hundred shells.

You can load four 23/4" shells in the magazine. I haven't used anything but lead shot, however the manual states it will handle steel shot, but don't use full choke. I have fired close to 1000 rounds from my 2000 in just under a year and no problems not even one misfeed. I did break it in with 3 boxes of 1 1/8 ounce shot, 3 1/4 gram eq. loads first. The inertia bolt system is so simple there is really not much to go wrong with it.
If you're shooting 4s lead go to 2's faststeel and if your shooting 6s lead go to 4s faststeel.
It'll take a little getting use to, but you'll get the hang of it pretty fast.
The steel gets there a little quicker then lead, but peters out quicker. I've found on ducks and geese that the faster the better. I use kents 1 1/8 3" at 1550 fps but it your shooting close you might want more shot and less speed.
1500 fps to me is the magic number (for me)

Sucks that you have to get a license to own a gun.

timb99: well i dont mind the gun laws since it prevents some of the lowlife here to get messy, one thing i hate is that it takes for ever for the police to issue the license, im still waiting on the **** license, this is my 3rd week waiting smile.gif

lalle I'm a true supporter of hevi-shot but standard steel loads are just fine under normal shooting conditions and ranges. Put the shot where its supposed to go and no worries my friend.
Spis drik a ver da gla! ;)

lalle,
With all due respect, you've been duped into believing your government's gun laws are able to prevent crime. These laws don't prevent crime because they can't prevent crime.
Looks like right now the only thing your gun laws are doing is preventing YOU from getting a gun.
And make no mistake, gun laws don't prevent criminals from getting guns. They only serve to harass the law-abiding person who actually applies for a license. What good does that do? And what recourse do you have if they decide you don't get a license?
Think about it. If one of your so-called lowlife's wants a gun, do you think they'll apply to the police for the license, or buy one from another low-life off the street?
Gun laws are stupid.

well i dont care if thay are stupid or not since i cant change them. i ether
need to follow the rules or get an other hobby.
also my license request cant get rejected (just takes time) unless its an asult
weapon, blackpowder, very old stuff or something i cant practicly use like for
exsampel a .50 bmg rifle.
there are very few weapons on the illegal market, and if there are any thay
are usely stolen from hunters gunsafes.

Gun law's the goverment pass have nothing to do with stopping crime by criminals. They use that as a excuse to pass more gun law's to make it harder for people to get. Think about it. Criminals will always commit a crime no matter if they have a gun or not. It's been illegal for criminals to buy or have gun's so who are these gun laws really aimed at? The only gun law I do agree with is the instant check. If you want to control the people what would you do? You may not want to believe it but were slowly loseing our freedom by the laws they pass.

well i think the gun laws in america is alot beter than here, but it will never happen in sweden, we are more likely to lose our right to hunt compleatly.
media is pumping out gaarbage about men will eretction problems shoting at anything that moves and with a insane intrest in collecting corpse. media screams when wolfs are shot by land owners (our natives farm raindeers) in the north part of sweden, since the gov said wolf should be protected and even that we need alot of them. also media is so ignorant thay called a roedeer "bambi" (thats a whitetail, aint it) last week in the newspaper.
http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/nyheter/story/0,2789,610058,00.html
the gov is trying to ban use of dogs when hunting unless its for tracking down injured animals, thay are cuting funds to the presevervation of the forest and wildlife (from about 8milion to 3,4milion) might i add the money is collected from hunters for a yearly license and isnt tax money so its insane that thay could take it away. and as you allready heard me say before, thay are baning lead in ammo.
we are moveing towards baning hunting it seems. :(
