we bought 2 choke tubes for a 12 gauge condor that are supposed to fit,( they say they will fit a mossberg, browning invector and winchester) and a different question on this forum says that is the ones to buy.they are the ones that you screw in by hand, should they screw all the way up to first rim , or is it ok if there is an area of the smooth part left out of the barrel?

I'd put one of the ones you got with the gun up against the new one, and compare the height of the two. See where the top of original one compares to the new one. The new one should screw in as far as the old one does.

thank you for your reply, that makes sense, we just weren't sure what to do. you are a very helpful person who knows these condors well.
