im planning on selling my mossberg 835 and getting a budget over/under. i was choosing between a stoeger condor or supreme and the Spartan over/under. what do ya'll suggest? What problems do you have with the condor? Are they pretty heavy when compared to say... a remington 870? do you guys usually use them just for trap shooting or do you use them for hunting? cause whatever gun i choose its gonna be used mostly duck/pheasant hunting with trap shooting on the side.

also, any other advice would be helpful.

the supreme with selective trigger is a good choice i use mine for trap but it should be super in the field as well, good handling and not really all that heavy, check through the postings for the problems that other owners have had, i had a problem with the firing pins not hitting the primers hard enough to fire the gun but the factory fixed that however it required two trips back to them and not a problem since, and the customer service --for me was rather speedy--as they only had the gun for about five days to do their work, if you have more than one to choose from check to see how well the machine work was done in the reciever, as a budget gun they might nees a litle fine finishing up with a fine file or crocus cloth and the condor has a very good shot pattern when put on paper

Hi, I think you'll like the Condor. I've never had any problems with mine. I shot my 24/25 clays with it. As far as being heavy goes, I wouldn't say it's overly heavy . There are times tho I wished I had bought the supreme only for the selective trigger, but, it's not a big enough deal to make me want to sell it. Mine is a 12 ga and I'm currently inches away from buying it's 20 ga brother.

Hi I just bought a Condor Special Ducks Unlimited edition 12 gauge. I lost the use of my left arm in August 2003 due to a motorcycle accident. I was looking at a Beretta Whitewing cause of it's weight. But when I saw the condor for a 1/3 of the price I had to buy it. What I didn't realize is that my Condor doesn't eject the shells for me which would make reloading for me much easier. I was wondoring if anyone knew if you could get a kit for it that would eject the shells. Or any websites I could look at to buy the supreme model. Thanks
