I was looking for information on the Stoeger 2000 model 31542 and could not find any info on this shotgun so I called Stoeger and found out it was offered but it never made it on the web or in the catalog. The product Manager said less that 2 dozen were made.

I have number 2... I think I will box it back up and see what happens over the next few years.

What is the difference between the 31542 model and the regular Stoeger 2000?

The stoeger 2000 model #31542 is a 12g auto with a 30 in barrel in Max-4 camo. The other odd thing is it has a stainless steel bolt.
If you look at the Stoeger web site they don't make a 30 in barrel with the Max-4 camo.
