hi everyone...
i have a stoger 2000 and i was wondering if it is ok to use 2oz shells.

I called stoeger and asked them. They said it was ok, and the 1-13\4 was just the low end to shoot. It wouldnt be a bad idea to make the call yourself for warrenty purposes. I have shot 2 ounce federal with no problems.If you are patterning for turkeys let me know what you find works the best. Good Luck Greg

i would think 2oz would be fine. 1-13/4, ive never heard of that size shot. i was shootin #4 buck shot out of mine yesturday. first time using buck shot. **** do they do some damage. ive heard of jamming problems with our 2000's when using less than 1oz shot and sure enough i got jammed with 7/8 target shot yesturday.

hi everyone.
I checked with stoeger they said it would fine to use 2oz shells and there should be no warranty issues .I will let how the pattering turns out.
