Does anyone know what the thread pattern is on the choke tubes for a model 2000? Thinking about shortening barrel and gun shop does not know what the pattern is to thread the barrel after it is shortened. Any help would be appreciated.

They should be able to take it from the existing choke tubes.
the m2000 has benelli/beretta threads
hope it helps

**WARNING** **WARNING** **WARNING**
If your gunsmith doesn’t know how to check this.. don't let him even clean the gun!!!
This is a touchy process and should be handled by a noted shop that specializes in machining barrels/chokes/point-of-impact. This fella could ruin your barrel if done improperly.
I wouldn't be his guinea pig if I was you!
Try here - R & D CUSTOM BARREL SERVICE (http://www.americhoke.com)
I've had a few guns/barrels worked on by R&D and have been very pleased with the outcome!!
