View Full Version : Does anybody like their Condor
I read lots of complaints.....but does anybody like their gun? I have one siting at the Gun Shop that I pick-up later this week and what I'm reading is not making me feel that great about it. Got good reviews on another forum but here on their own website it seems to be only slammed???

I Like mine, like you, reading all the bad things on this site I was hesitant but I had already purchased one and did have some of the problems mentioned. I did what they said and sent it back to the factory they fixed it in 3 weeks and sent it back, put a new stock on it that I didnt complain about and new firing springs. I have no complaints about the service or the gun...I shot it well in Maryland on a hunting trip.

My Condor is working fine, but I haven't shot but 300 rounds or so through it.....maybe 500 at the most. I never had a problem one with the gun firing, or re-setting the pins. I just hope the thing holds out for me unlike some of the other posts on here!

since getting my condor back from the service dept i will have to admit that i do like the gun. for many reasons first and formost the inherent safty of an o/u for the most part i hunt with dogs. while im walking and watchin the dogs the breach of the gun is open and therefor unable to fire. only when the dog is on point do i evan bother closing it. also it only takes a second to unload it if i feel that i have to use the gun as a walking stick or boat oar. for the price i dont mind doing these things. since i got it back ive had not one missfire and ive run at least 500 rounds threw it. i put about 100+ threw it yesterday alone in sub freezing temps. but i wouldnet recomend the gun to any one because of my poor customer service. but for the price the gun cant be beat for a new gun. realy i guess its realy a matter of money for 289$ no other o/u evan came close. and the gun does function correctly now i guess ill just have to say buyer beware.
Well I picked mine up tonight, cleaned it and will take it to the range for some trap shooting on Saturday....I had a Kahn O/U that I gave to my youngest son, it too was a resonably priced O/U and we have not had any problems with it.....shoots great, in fact we won our Team event on Saturday and came home with the trophy.....kind of fun walking away with the trophy shooting a $400 gun while all those several thousand dollar guns went home without anything to show.

I like mine just fine.
Got it in early 2000, and still working well!

Well, I'm glad I went with what I read elsewhere instead of the complaints here.....my gun works great.......still like my wingmaster more for hunting but this makes for a nice trap gun.

I like my condor
I have now shot over 850 shells through mine and only had problems once. A good cleaning took care of that. :D

Overall I like the firearm. I used mine for trap shooting all season. Several misfires with the first 200 rounds. Then I discovered a burr around the firing pin guide on the lower barrel. Removed the burr, then never misfired again. Also, I noticed the targeting was off and did not know why. Fit and fisnish is average. I noticed the front bead sight was off to the right of center. Sent it in for warranty work last week, (9-27-11). We'll see how it is when it comes back and how long it will take to turn it around.
Foir the $ - it still is acceptable. You do get what you pay for

I like mine. Purchased it from dick's sporting goods. Mine is a STF 3000 O/U. I like everything about it the weight, look, how it performs shooting, the quality of workmanship. Thanks Stoeger

I have a STF 3000 12 ga that I've used for about a year and absolutely love it. I've cycled close to 1500 rounds on both sporting clays and trap with more than 75% of those being Remington Gun Club shells and have never had a FTF. I have been able to keep pace with buddies using much more expensive Browning and Ruger O/U's. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely buy another STF.
