My Condor Supreme let me done last night. I was trapping shooting and twice the bottom barrel fired when it should have been the top barrel. I have decided that after 1000 rounds I should take it a part and clean and lube it. What is a good cold weather lube or a good all around lube for a o/u? Oh Yea I had 1 misfire to. That was the first time since I started reloading about a thousands ago. Strange. Tuesday night was colder. but not as windy.

for super cold weather ive heard that dry graphite is the way to go but ive always used either hopps gun oil or break free clp in my guns and never had a problem ive also used a product called cheeta grease it comes in a spray can but comes out as a powder ive never used it on guns only on gaskets and weather stripping on cars. but i know people that use it on guns and other fine machine type stuff one thing to realy avoid is any heavy oil or grease that will gum up or get overly viscus in the cold.
hoppes weatherguard in the black bottle is great in cold weather. its about $4 a bottle.

Sorry not toget back sooner. Been Busy. I think so everything seems to move easier. I did have 1 miss fire this week trap shooting. I tried it in both barrels twice and a friends o/u and nothing but a good dimple in the primer. I guess the priner was bad. 1 in six hundred is not bad .
