I am having a great deal of difficulty. Can anyone tell me how to fire the top barrel and am I the only one that is having this problem? The bottom barrel fires fine but the trigger seems as though it will not recycle. Help, please?

i also own a condor and i have posted many a complaint about it. on this forum. and others (see condor broken out of the box) i do belleve that they must have had a bad batch come in because there are many others with the same problem or worse some of them are fireing both barrels at once or in my case it will missfire if i hold the gun at an angle. if you can live with it you can make the second barrel fire by flipping the safety back and forth. that will make it work, but that is not very convienent or safe as far as im concerned. if i were you, i would call customer service,be prepaired to wait, and get an RO# (dont make the same mistake i did) and send it back with a detailed nasty note. i will have to admit though there is a possibility that the wepon is designed to work that way but, i highly doubt it, and i've never seen an O/U that worked that way. if that is the case i would never recomend a condor to any one (evan though i would like to) since the entire concept of an O/U it to be able to get of the second shot rapidly with out having to wait for the acton to move or manualy opperating it. i have an old rusty mossburg to do that with and it always works no matter what i do to it. FYI i only shot two rounds of skeet with myn before i sent it back not 3 days after i bought it. they receved it on the 20th of november according to the U.S.P.S. recept but i haven't heard any thing from stoger other than i needed an RO# to send it back evan though it was already there. im in a bit of a pickle about what to do about that evan though i would like to call them every day several times a day i just dont have the time to sit on the phone on ignore oops i mean hold.
good luck

Fellows,
The trigger is DEFINITELY not supposed to work like that. You should not have to touch the safety to light off the top barrel. Just pull the trigger once for the bottom barrel, a second time for the top barrel.
If you just got it, I would be inclined to take it back to the seller and get a different one. If you've had it for a while, the seller may not do that, and you may have to send it in for repairs.
Sad to hear. I've had good luck with mine. Bought it in January of 2000.
