I just purchased a new Stoeger Condor 20 O/U. The question I have is when the action is closed the lever seems to be off center a little from the reciever. This is not true when the barrels are not attached. I called Dick's Sporting Goods and they said it is normal on this model and are time it should center up? I did go back to the store and tried three more and it did seem to be the rule. Has anyone had the same or anything diffrent? Maybe the locking pins need to get worn in? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I will let you know how mine is. I am waiting for it to come in at Dick's. I got the 20 with 28" Barrels. The one's I looked at didn't do that.

The lever on almost all s/s and o/u shotguns is a little off center in order to allow for wear. As the cam wears, it moves more towards center. It should last the life of the gun. This is actually a safety feature.
