Would anyone know of a recoil pad that is made for a synthetic stock model 2000 (or for Benellis if the pad dimensions are the same)? I am aware that I could put a slip-on boot on the gun. If I did add a slip-on boot, must I leave the original pad on the gun? I do not wish to increase the length of pull. The bottom line is this. I'm looking for the best recoil reduction at the least cost. The less monkeying with the gun, the better. ;) Any help you could give is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I don't know if any companies like Pachmeyer or Uncle Mike's makes one for the Stoeger 2000. You can measure the length and width and go with one a little bigger in length and width and have it trimmed down a custom fit. I had to to have this done for my EAA Bounty Hunter double barrell. Good luck!

Simms (SVL) slip on pad fits the Stoeger2000.You remove the stock pad and don't use it. You don't need a backing plate either. The slipon works great and is about $10.00 cheaper than the screw on.

Limbsaver stock # for synthetic stock is 10008. For wood stock 10001.

I had a 2000 & the Limbsaver Precision-Fit recoil pad that fit it PERFECTLY was the one that is made for the Browning Gold 12 & 20 gauge synthetic shotgun. I can't remember the stock #, but there is no adapter plate...........just unscrew the old pad from the 2000 & screw in the Limbsaver (use the screws that come with the gun). Simple as that.

The 10008 is the pad for the Browning Gold. It is also the pad for the synthetic stock 2000. The wood pad is 10001.

The 10001 is close for walnut stocks, but not perfect. I am going to go with a grind to fit.

The Limbsaver is a fantastic product. You would not believe the recoil reduction if you didn't try it yourself. I love mine, and it was at my door in 3 days! My gun is matte & synthetic. I also added a little weight inside the stock. These two changes really transformed the feel of the gun. I take mine with me most times I leave the yard now. Of my 3 12 ga. guns, this is my favorite now!
