i just bought a 20 gauge condor for my son, when firing, will it shoot top and then bottom automatically, or do you have to safe it between shots to reset trigger for the second barrel??? the dealer did not know and the manual doesn't say.

The Condor resets the safety each time you break the gun not between the over and under shot . I have the 12 ga. My son shoots it and won't let me use it. I know he has missed pidgeons because the safety is back on after reloading.

What is your opinion of this gun I am looking for an affordable overunder for some recreational sporting clay shooting and bird hunting. I will be shooting arround 250 shells per month and I want a gun that will last for a while.

Will I have to flip a switch to use the second barrel and will it be able to deal with the ammount of activity.

There is 2 separate styles of the condor. The condor and condor special do not have the ability to select barrels and they come with shell extracters. The condor supreme comes with a barrel selecter, shell ejecters and a better wood.

If I fire the first then I do not have to flip a switch to fire the second the first will **** the seconds firing pin.

I have a condor 12 ga. and the bottom barrel shoots first then the recoil sets the trigger for the top barrel. If you only fire the one shot and break the action the trigger will be set for the first or lower barrel again, it will only fire the upper or second barrel if fired a second time without opening the action. The safety always resets when the action is opened.
