Weighing only 6 lbs., the Ultra Light is the lightest 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun in production, sporting a featherweight alloy receiver, shortened magazine tube and a unique raised target rib made from the same super-light, super-strong carbon fiber employed in Formula 1 race cars.
New this year is the Ultra-Light 20-gauge, which is literally the lightest 20-gauge in the world, weighing in at just 5.2 lbs. The Ultra-Light 20-gauge incorporates all the same features that lightened up it’s 12-gauge big brother. The Ultra Light in either 12- or 20-gauge is an uplander’s dream.
The Ultra Light’s stock and fore-end are sealed with a five-step process called WeatherCoat™. This coating makes them virtually impervious to any kind of weather and, as a bonus, this special stock finishing process also enhances the fancy figure of the wood.
A light-weight raised target rib is made from the same super-light, super-strong carbon fiber employed in Formula 1 race cars.
The carbon fiber rib is complemented by a matching carbon fiber grip cap.
The Ultra Light's magazine tube and fore-end are considerably shorter than the Montefeltro's. This new design makes the Ultra Light incredibly light on those long hunts.
